National Awareness Days

Project Britain Special Days

Time and Date is a wonderful website relating to all things calendular (if that’s a word). Provides links to official national and religious days by country and a more frivolous list of Fun observance days (Penguin Awareness Day – January 20th 🙂  ). Also has a useful On this Day list.

TES teaching resources – TES appear to have removed their calendar, but there’s plenty ideas for various awareness days here.

National Day Calendar and Days of the Year are based in the United States so a lot of the ‘National Days’ only apply to America, but there are links to international celebration days too.
